SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY

The Franciscan nuns reached Ariany during the second half of the nineteenth century, shortly after its founding in the small village of Pina. The founded the convent to carry out education and health services. They carried out this task until he left the convent, where those services have been covered by the state.

From this moment, the nuns looked for a social purpose for the convent. In 2010 they decided to destine it to create jobs for people with disabilities, starting the hotel project, which is managed by Mater Misericordiae, in the same congregation.
